Nissan Altima 2.5S
The
parts were hard to find. Only the fenders were available after
market, the rest; headlights, bumper and air box I had to get
from the dealer.

I
picked this car up for $4000 from Copart.com. As you can see it
is quiet a project. The picture above shows the front left wheel
inside the fender well. When I got the car, the wheel was ripped
out. They straightened the wheel out to get bidders to pay more
for the car at the auction. Bad for me. :(

The
rear left wheel suspension is bent as you can see. Had to replace
some of the suspension parts.

The
complete right suspension was replaced, the fender, headlight,
front bumper. The hood was fixed.

Oh
man, the story about the airbags. I've got to say, whoever designed
this airbag system is not very bright. The passenger side airbag,
when deployed rips through the dash. And you have to replace the
whole dash when replacing the airbags. Have you ever heard of
a such a thing. You would think they would be thinking ahead about
the possibility of the car being in a repairable condition after
an accident. So you don't have to replace half the car. That really
made me unhappy. :(
If you are interested you can read the complete story i wrote
on my blog at auto-parts-news.blogspot.com

The
core support, the bumper reinforcement was replaced.
